During the First World War Ottoman Soldiers were taken as prisoners of war in Russia. The commander of the ship Heimei-Maru was Japanese Lieutenant Colonel Yukichi Tsumura and he was tasked with the transfer of the soldiers to Istanbul. The journey that began in 23 February, 1921. And the return of those soldiers to Istanbul was realized only in 25 June, 1922. Mustafa Dokur's father was one of the soldiers who returned İstanbul with Heimei-Maru. He lost his father when he was 4 years old. Only a pale photo and a note book was left from his father. So he began to search his father's captivity years.
